And here are the valentines ...

Bananas-snobJosephine Baker goes bananas for your love!

I made more than 17, but here are six of them for your personal amusement. They were all handmade with glue sticks, copies of historical photos, scrapbooking paper and "love."

More "Valentines" after the jump.

mlk-snobMLK dreams of your love.

ellison-snobEllison can see how much you care.

carmen-snobCarmen's love is doomed. But she's doing it anyway.

knock out-snobJack Johnson's love is a heavyweight.

runaway valentine-snobLet Harriet take you away ... to Canada.

I want these. Are you selling these? I am not handy/crafty/artsy, but I appreciate good work.

@ T.J.

I wasn't planning on selling them (I had some concerns about "Fair Use" laws). I''m pretty sure MLK's estate would sue me over the Valentine with his face on it. The others, maybe not so much.

Wow you really thought outside of the box for these!! I would have never thought to combine Valentine's Day and Black History Month together even though it's so obvious to combine the two. Have you ever thought about working for Hallmark??!!!!! LOL

Black snob I writing this while I need to be heading toward work. You are one creative cookie. If you could sell these I would buy excluding MLK since we all know his children would kill anyone who makes money except for those children. You are so bright, clever, and funny. I have a feeling you are headed towards being the it girl who can actually make money off being nerdy, negroish, and novel. Keep moving forward.

These are so smart, and so cool. Definitely try and make some dollars off of them. They would all look good on a t-shirt.
